Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of sabineandloren.com and any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order you accept them, so please read them.

In these terms, we, us and Sabine & Loren mean Verelisse s.r.o., the company that operates this store; you means the person using the site or placing the order.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in the state where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm that you meet that requirement and that the payment details you use are your own or that you have permission to use them.

2. Products, descriptions and images

We describe our pieces as accurately as we can, including measurements and a plain note on fit. Colors can still vary between screens, and small variations in natural and textured fabrics are a normal characteristic of the product rather than a fault.

Our range is deliberately narrow and availability changes. We may add, withdraw or stop selling any piece at any time without notice.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax, where it applies to your address, is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

We work hard to keep prices accurate, but if an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price we are not obliged to sell it at that price. If we discover an error after you have ordered, we will contact you and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

4. Volume discounts and promotions

Our volume discounts — 10% on 2 items, 15% on 3, 20% on 4 or more — apply automatically in the cart and require no code. Unless we state otherwise, automatic discounts cannot be combined with discount codes, and promotions cannot be applied retroactively to an order that has already been placed.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a dispatch confirmation, and it is at that point that a contract is formed — not when you receive an order confirmation email.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where the item is out of stock, where there is a pricing or description error, where we suspect fraud or a breach of these terms, or where we cannot ship to your address. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details. You are responsible for any fee your own bank charges, such as a foreign transaction fee.

7. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is covered on our shipping page, and returns and refunds on our returns page. Both form part of these terms.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.

8. Your account

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account being used to breach these terms.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not use the site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, scrape or copy our content in bulk, introduce malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems.

10. Reviews and anything you submit

If you send us a review, photograph or comment, you keep ownership of it and give us permission to display and use it in connection with our business. Please only submit material that is yours to share and that is honest. We may remove anything unlawful, misleading or abusive.

11. Intellectual property

The Sabine & Loren name, logo, site design, photography and written content belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may browse, share links and print pages for your own personal use. Any other commercial use needs our written permission.

12. Third-party links

Where we link to other websites we do so for convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

13. Disclaimers

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every description is entirely without mistake. Except where the law says otherwise, the site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any of your rights as a consumer that apply automatically where you live.

15. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy. If you live in a US state with an opt-out right, you can exercise it on our privacy choices page.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where Verelisse s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the state or country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings there.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
